THE PHILOSOPHY

Extraordinary results through
enthusiastic people.

WE COMBINE

  • Profound specialist knowledge and extensive practical experience in companies; our background is primarily in manufacturing and trading businesses with 80–8,000 employees and revenues between EUR 15 million and EUR 1 billion.
  • With many years of personal development and learning through working on ourselves and our own personalities; each of us complements practical experience in personal development programmes with professional coaching training.

WE ARE CONVINCED THAT

  • Every person has unlimited potential for fulfilment and performance within themselves – and sometimes they have not yet fully recognised it themselves.
  • Every company has the capacity to improve significantly – yet in day-to-day business or for other reasons this potential is not always fully visible.

With our services, we unlock the potential (performance) that lies dormant within organisations. We achieve this by activating the enthusiasm (passion) and strength of employees. In doing so, we support companies in bringing their true purpose even more fully to life.

Client Testimonials

Feedback, recommendations and awards.

“Martin Bartmann saved bravobike from falling apart during a severe crisis. Through his calm, thoughtful and empathetic manner, he immediately gained the trust of his direct reports, his teams, peers, management and the executive board. In doing so, he brought stability to turbulent situations and helped people overcome their emotional barriers. Martin has demonstrated in every area and at all times that he approaches topics with great dedication and is always willing to go the extra mile. Martin genuinely cares about people and shows appreciation to every individual. Alongside his professional expertise, this is his true superpower.”

“Martin has supported our team and enterprise from 01-2020 for over half a year. He very quickly integrated into the team and the corporate culture, immediately gained access to all team members also on a personal level. His broad professional knowledge and good handfeel for how to contribute to the team efforts and how to lead his team have helped tremendously in getting traction within the organisation. I do not consider this level of interpersonal skills a given for external staff supporting us for a limited time. Martin has instantly succeeded in making himself part of our team and has in his role as interim COO also been a strong support to me in my role as CEO. His strong leadership in gaining back the AEO customs certification for SIMPLON has delivered a significant reduction in the cost structure for imported goods from Asia. In generally turbulent times for us and our industry and in times that due to the so called cov19 pandemic has given us additional challenges to manage he provided excellent support.

We have very much enjoyed working with Martin and are grateful for his support”

“Martin first supported us for 6 months as CFO and subsequently for 2 years as COO.
For me, he was an excellent sparring partner with a wealth of experience.”

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

What does an Interim CFO/COO actually do in manufacturing companies?

As an Interim CFO/COO, I take on the role for a defined period of time – as part of your management team.
Typical assignments are when a company is growing rapidly (and wants to take the time to fill the position permanently with the right person) or during a period of crisis (for example, when the previous manager is no longer available).
Assignments usually last between 9 months and 1.5 years.

Who benefits from interim management – and from what company size or revenue level?

Interim management is particularly valuable for mid-sized manufacturing companies with up to ~1,000 employees and up to approximately €1 billion in revenue – especially during turnaround situations, post-merger phases, ERP go-lives, quality or supply challenges, or periods of intensive growth.

Which companies is the Win³ programme suited for? Who benefits the most?

From experience, Win³ works best in mid-sized companies with 200–500 employees. Another key success factor is when the responsible leader (CEO or head of department) is able – and willing – to implement decisions.
We see rapid results both in companies that are already among the best in their industry and in organisations facing a crisis. What matters most is a strong willingness for improvement and change within the company and among its leadership – something we also clarify during the proposal phase.

What impact does Win³ have on the individual employee in practical terms?

In many cases, the very first coaching session brings surprising insights for the employee. We ask questions that they have never been asked before – at least not in a professional context.
Building on this, we typically see that by the third coaching session at the latest, employees gain new insights about themselves and their situation that they genuinely want to put into practice. At this stage, the role of the leader is crucial: when an employee’s suggestions are received openly and seriously, this is where the momentum for change begins – for the employee and at the same time, for the company.
It may also happen that an employee realises that their current task or role is not the right fit. In such cases, it is extremely helpful if this can be addressed proactively with the leader and resolved constructively – whether within or outside the company.

How can I successfully implement Win³ in my company as a leader?

Win³ supports you as a leader particularly well if you are convinced that your team is already well positioned, that the right people are on board, and that your own objectives as a leader within the company are clear.
In this context, Win³ helps participating employees quickly gain focus and activation, enabling them to bring their strongest abilities even more effectively into the company.
What matters then is that you recognise this development in your employees, actively support it, and integrate it into your team’s work programme. This is how the positive momentum created through Win³ can unfold its full impact – for both the employees and the organisation.
